Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Outpatient Services department at San Dimas Community Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and coordinate care with the surgeon and/or anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Outpatient Services setting
  • Communicate with physicians, Director of Surgical Services, House Supervisor, and co-workers about changes in the patient's clinical condition
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
  • Coordinate care with the surgeon and/or anesthesiologist, direct and guide other personnel, and maintain standards of care within the Outpatient Department
  • Work with other departments and co-workers to provide quality patient care across the continuum, efficient patient flow, and unit maintenance and organization
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current
  • PALS 30 days upon hire and maintain current
  • Previous acute care hospital experience; preferred
  • Moderate Sedation competency completed within 30 days upon hire
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $38.48 to $55.74.
