Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Custodial Services Worker performs general cleaning of campus facilities for the college. Working collaboratively with the facilities management team leader, this position works to provide clean and sanitary facilities for students, faculty, staff, and the general public on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, classrooms, eating areas, offices, and meeting rooms
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
Dusting furniture
Cleaning windows
Disposing of trash in a safe manner according to state and federal regulations
Buffing floors
Stripping and waxing of floors
Requirements:
High school/GED and four years related experience, or equivalent
Must be physically able to lift heavy items, i.e. office furniture, equipment, etc.
