Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Tewksbury, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for defining security requirements, designing solutions, and implementing security controls to protect our systems and networks from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define security requirements and design solutions to protect our systems and networks from cyber threats.
  • Implement security controls and protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our business.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security architecture, engineering, and operations.
  • Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST and DoDI.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US government issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems as defined by NSA, NIST, DISA (STIGs) and USCYBERCOM.
  • Experience with network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Cisco Systems.
  • DoDI M IAT Level-III Compliant Certification (CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, etc.).
