Job Title: Manager Distribution

At Mohawk Industries, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Distribution to lead our distribution team and oversee the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and distribution operations.

Job Summary:

The Manager Distribution will be responsible for planning and directing the distribution process, from inventory management to order fulfillment. This role will oversee all aspects of the distribution function, including inventory management, shipment of goods, cycle count, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the distribution team and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Identify and recommend staffing requirements for the distribution team.
  • Develop and implement budget plans to achieve regional profitability objectives.
  • Provide direction to the team and ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and governmental requirements.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 6-8 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance required.
Competencies:
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
Other Pertinent Job Information:
  • This employee will be responsible for direct reports.
  • Up to 50% travel may be required based on region/assigned locations.
  • May occasionally work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
