Job Summary

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Support Associate 3 to join our team. This full-time position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash handling and bookstore operations, and supporting various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage cash handling and bookstore operations, including balancing cash drawers, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist the bookstore manager with ordering, receiving, stocking, and conducting inventory of items for sale.
  • Pre-pack and distribute books and supplies to students on start dates.
  • Support general purchasing approvals and perform various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and report creation.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service, cash-handling, or sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse groups.
  • Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Good math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires sedentary work, involving sitting for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Mental and visual attention to detail is essential, with a focus on accuracy and precision.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines, education, and related experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
