Cognizant is a global leader in supply chain management, and we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Delivery practice, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in the field of BY Transportation Management, with expertise in Java, PL/SQL, Unix, and BY Supply Chain Execution. You will also need to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of Supply Chain Management principles.

Our Supply Chain Delivery practice is part of Cognizant's Enterprise Platform Services (EPS), where we implement, support, and extend off-the-shelf supply chain products in execution planning and procurement. We are expanding rapidly and are looking for exceptional talent to provide exceptional services to our customers, who are part of the Fortune 500 companies.

In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of technology solutions for BY Transportation Management, oversee the development and maintenance of Java-based applications, and provide expertise in PL/SQL for database management and optimization. You will also ensure Unix systems are effectively managed and maintained, implement and support BY Supply Chain Execution solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

You will conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and system performance, develop and maintain technical documentation for all implemented solutions, provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders, and monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. You will also ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve existing systems. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Management team to optimize processes and improve efficiency, and contribute to the development of new technology solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of technology solutions for BY Transportation Management.

Qualifications:

  • Possess strong experience in BY Transportation Management.

  • Exhibit a deep understanding of Supply Chain Management principles.

Estimated Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location: San Francisco, CA or Remote, within the U.S.
