Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our team at DispatchHealth. As a Medical Technician, you will work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers to assess and monitor patients, take vital signs, and perform IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
  • Apply splints and provide wound care, work directly with point-of-care laboratory equipment, and perform EKGs
  • Assist NP/PAs in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit, document patient information, and stock and supply vehicles
Requirements
  • Medical Technician certification, Basic Certification with WA, EMT License (hiring credential only), or MA-C or MA-P
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
