Job Summary

We are seeking outstanding applicants to closely work with full-time Scientists/Engineers on a variety of programming tasks, providing integration and test support, and applying knowledge obtained to solve routine problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating, revising, updating, compiling, debugging, and writing business, scientific, or software computer programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing flow charts and diagrams outlining process steps in operation
  • Developing and revising program code
  • Preparing documentation of program development, modifications to code, and operating instructions
  • Conducting program tests and analyzing system capabilities to resolve input/output problems
  • Researching, designing, developing, and verifying signal and image collection systems
  • Defining and developing processing and dissemination computer algorithms
  • Designing, developing, and analyzing systems for the extraction of information from sensors
  • Implementing signal and image processing with advanced computer architectures
  • Designing, developing, and implementing methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse data sets
  • Developing software programs, algorithms, dashboards, information tools, and queries to clean, model, integrate, and evaluate datasets
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's or higher in physical sciences, computer science, engineering, or mathematics
  • Experience with scientific programming in Python, MATLAB, C, C++, or similar languages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams
  • Must be eligible to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Required to be on-site, not a remote work position
