Job Title: Powertrain Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Engineer to join our team at LER TechForce LLC. As a Powertrain Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, developing, and troubleshooting propulsion systems for our company and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new engines and propulsion systems
  • Run engines on the dyno and calibrate EFI system maps
  • Write test plans and reports
  • Interface with customers and support them with engine package design
  • Travel to customer sites for engine diagnostics and support
  • Diagnose failure modes and develop solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical field (Engineering or Physics)
  • Masters or PhD in Engine Systems or similar is a plus
  • Experience with engine design, tuning, and EFI calibration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of scientific process and combustion analysis
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics and basic understanding of engines
  • Experience with MATLAB, National Instruments data acquisition hardware, and analysis
