Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is seeking a per diem Mental Health Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy to support the recovery of individuals struggling with eating disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to support clients in their recovery journey
  • Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management to ensure timely and effective treatment
  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning to ensure a smooth transition for clients
  • Provide therapeutic meal support and model a healthy relationship with food to promote positive eating habits
  • Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client based on their unique circumstances and intersecting identities

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or a related discipline
  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is preferred
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
