Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team at Applied Business Communications (ABcom). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining telecommunications systems, including cabling, fiber optics, and security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage cabling crews to ensure efficient and high-quality installations
  • Build out telecommunications closets and install cable support systems
  • Install and terminate various types of cables, including cat 6, fiber optic, and coax
  • Perform copper splicing, fiber splicing, and cable testing
  • Troubleshoot and repair telecommunications systems
  • Work at heights and use power tools safely and effectively
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the communications cabling industry
  • Data Center experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of codes and standards
  • Ability to complete accurate documentation and communicate effectively
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
