We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer/Manager to lead and coordinate activities related to various projects within the biotechnology manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
  • Provide specific directions to project teams through written and verbal communication to execute work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conceptualize solutions, define budgetary needs/scope, gain approval for funding, forecast spending, and accrue financials.
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks. Develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies to address potential issues.
  • Uphold project standards by ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Track project performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
  • Document and report project progress to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams overall.
  • Provide expert-level project management for floating plant projects of high dollar value, of high complexity, or extraordinary urgency.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Requirements

We value candidates who are willing and able to travel as needed for project assignments and client engagements. The ability to adapt to various locations, cultures, and work environments is essential.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a science, technology, or engineering discipline is required.
  • 5 years or more of experience in commissioning and qualifying bio-pharmaceutical facilities and equipment or in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with project management or engineering is preferred.
  • PMP certification or Project Management Certification is highly preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Access skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Problem-solving and analytics aptitude.
