Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer/Manager to lead and coordinate activities related to various projects within the biotechnology manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
- Provide specific directions to project teams through written and verbal communication to execute work in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conceptualize solutions, define budgetary needs/scope, gain approval for funding, forecast spending, and accrue financials.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and contingency strategies to address potential issues.
- Uphold project standards by ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Track project performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
- Document and report project progress to stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams overall.
- Provide expert-level project management for floating plant projects of high dollar value, high complexity, or extraordinary urgency.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a science, technology, or engineering discipline.
- 5 years or more of experience in commissioning and qualifying bio-pharmaceutical facilities and equipment or in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Experience with project management or engineering is preferred.
- PMP certification or Project Management Certification is highly preferred.
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Access skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service driven.
- Problem-solving and analytics aptitude.
