Shop LC is seeking an experienced Buyer for Health and Supplements to join our merchandising team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing a diverse range of health and supplement products that align with Shop LC's quality standards and customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Sourcing & Development: Identify and source high-quality health and supplement products, ensuring they meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with suppliers to develop exclusive products for Shop LC.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize value for the company while maintaining product quality.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings. Use insights to make informed buying decisions and develop the product assortment.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability. Work closely with the inventory team to forecast demand and plan reorders.
  • Sales & Profitability: Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the success of product lines. Make recommendations for product promotions, markdowns, and discontinuations to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and e-commerce teams to develop effective product presentations and promotions that drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Compliance: Ensure all products meet health and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines. Stay informed about changes in industry regulations and ensure timely implementation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in buying or product management, preferably in the health and wellness or supplements category.
  • Negotiation and Vendor Management Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the health and supplements industry, including current trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software to make informed buying decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
