Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente seeks a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist with Kaiser Permanente, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the development of innovative treatment programs.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. You will provide direct patient care to members with communication and swallowing disorders by evaluating, diagnosing, developing and implementing therapy/treatment programs. Key responsibilities include administering diagnostic tests, providing individualized treatment, advising physicians on test results, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. In addition, you will serve as a consultant on specialized areas such as pediatric speech and traumatic brain injury, train clinical fellows, and develop protocols and treatment programs within these areas. Furthermore, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic clinical swallowing evaluations, interpreting and reporting results, and participating in the design and implementation of therapy programs addressing speech/language voice and swallowing problems.

Salary Estimate:

$110,000 - $130,000 per year based on experience. Note: This estimate is based on industry standards and may vary depending on location and other factors. Requirements:

* Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
* One (1) year clinical experience in dysphasia management required
* Speech-Language Pathologist License (California)
* Basic Life Support certification
* National Provider Identifier

Additional Requirements:

* Ability to demonstrate knowledge and utilize theories, principles, practices, techniques, and methods of Speech Therapy
* Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements

Note:

This job requires flexibility to work above hired hours PRN, weekend coverage, holiday rotation, and occasional travel to Oxnard MOB. External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
