Job Overview

El Concilio California is actively looking for a dedicated individual to join our Fiscal Department as an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role will involve close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer and other financial team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and maintain essential financial data for accounting records.
  • Become acquainted with El Concilio California's billing systems and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure accuracy in payments.
  • Work in partnership with various departments to facilitate auditing processes.
  • Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
  • Under the guidance of the Chief Financial Officer and Lead Accountant, investigate and resolve any discrepancies in invoices.

Employment Type: Full-time; Non-Exempt

Requirements: Background Check, Bilingual - Spanish highly preferred.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 2-4 years of relevant experience is highly preferred. Alternatively, an Associate's Degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED Equivalency with 5 or more years of accounting experience in lieu of a degree is required.
