Job Description:
  As a Patient Care & Technician with University Health System, you will play a vital role in supporting our Psychiatry Services team. Your responsibilities will include assisting nursing staff with patient preparation and treatment procedures, maintaining the therapeutic milieu, and performing clerical duties associated with patient care management. Responsibilities:
  
  1. Assist Psychiatry Services and nursing staff with patient preparation and treatment procedures, both acute and non-acute illnesses or injuries.
  2. Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment.
  3. Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  5. Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Current certifications in CPR/BLS and First Aid.
