As an intern at RSM, you will collaborate with a diverse range of businesses, from large corporations to smaller enterprises across various sectors. You will cultivate robust working relationships with clients, grounded in a deep understanding of their operations and challenges. Interns engage in multiple team projects each year, contributing to various aspects of assignments rather than focusing on a single component. This collaborative and respectful team dynamic enables our associates to perform optimally while harmonizing their professional and personal lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grasping clients' requirements and expectations, along with their business and industry landscapes, accounting frameworks, employee dynamics, corporate values, and relevant GAAP and GAAS considerations.
  • Gaining insights into the RSM audit methodology and tools.
  • Identifying risks and assessing the client's internal control framework.
  • Conducting substantive tests and internal control evaluations to pinpoint and address accounting or reporting discrepancies.
  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with established formats.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Completion of 90 credit hours.
  • Pursuing a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Major in Accounting.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary, with access to reliable transportation.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.

Compensation Range: $31 - $38 per hour
