Production Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be at the heart of production planning, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Communicate production schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders, including management and team members.
- Participate in production planning meetings and provide input on capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and production performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MRP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
