Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the encapsulation department, including coordinating production schedules and ensuring that all equipment is running at optimal levels.
  • Supervise a team of encapsulation technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting production targets and adhering to quality standards.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all production activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with other production supervisors and managers to improve operations and quality.
  • Mentor temporary labor force to ensure productivity and quality of department outputs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory position.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and understand written and spoken information in English.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move 500 lbs. drum dolly.
