About this role

We're seeking an experienced Risk Management Strategist to lead our Risk team and drive strategic growth initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for our Risk function, ensuring it aligns with our overall business objectives. Your expertise will help us navigate complex risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop effective strategies to mitigate potential threats.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive risk management framework that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement effective controls.
  • Design and implement scalable processes and systems to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of risk management practices.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Risk team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, risk advisors, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in risk management, with a proven track record of driving strategic growth initiatives and developing effective risk management frameworks.
  • Strong industry expertise, with a deep understanding of risk management practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex risks.

Salary Range

California: the estimated salary for this role is $260,000 to $395,000 per year, based on the national average for similar positions. This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule, with a flexible work-from-home policy. Faire employees will be expected to go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, effective the week of January 13, 2025. Additionally, in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year.
