We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Trauma Stepdown Unit at Delray Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients who require close monitoring and intervention.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Trauma Stepdown Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- BSN degree or higher.
- At least 1 year of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in a Trauma Stepdown Unit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic EKG interpretation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
