Job Summary

Rix Industries is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager 2 to oversee the execution of programs from inception to completion. This includes managing daily program activities, developing program proposals, and ensuring milestones are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate program activities to meet organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and Finance teams to develop program proposals.
  • Execute and monitor programs through their life cycle, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Develop and document processes and procedures within the programs department.
  • Manage risks and issues, implementing corrective measures to ensure program success.
  • Implement changes to ensure individual program goals are achieved, focusing on customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team performance.
  • Meet with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and provide timely reporting of program status.
  • Coordinate potential customer growth strategies with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required to visit Rix facilities, customers, vendors, and attend seminars and training events.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in Business, Program Management, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in project and program management methodologies and techniques.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, solve practical problems, manage risk, and deal with multiple variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Exhibit a professional and positive image, exercising sound judgment in any situation.
  • Demonstrated practice and history of budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to extract performance from others and resolve problems in innovative ways.
  • Ability to communicate with others to exchange information both orally and in writing.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person in accordance with ALU 22CFR 120.15. May require the ability to obtain DOD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree
  • MS or MBA in Related Field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
Work Environment

The successful candidate will have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a desk or table, as well as machine tools or printers. The physical demands of the job include the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, reach, and lift.
