About the Role:

The Hogan Development team is comprised of skilled application developers and architects who provide support for our Core Deposits and Customer systems, also known as Hogan Systems. These core banking systems enable UMB to customize our online, real-time access to customer accounts and relationships across the entire enterprise.

This allows us to offer our consumer, commercial, and small business customers convenient, easy access to their accounts, how, when, and where they want it.

As a Hogan Systems Developer, you will play a critical role in collaborating with business partners and analysts to analyze the Hogan System's current capabilities, drive development, and implement system improvements and optimizations.

This is a hybrid role (Tuesday and Wednesday on-site) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area but within the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business partners and analysts to evaluate the current state of the Hogan system, identify potential enhancements, and implement them.
  • Provide support for the general Hogan environment and applications to ensure peak performance and avoid business disruption.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in application development on Hogan System, specifically in Customer Information Systems modules (i.e., CIS, AIF, etc.) including extensions to a vendor-delivered package.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IBM mainframe development and testing tools (i.e., TSO/SPF, Compuware/Macro4 or equivalent).
  • Experience with real-time payments processing.
  • Coding experience with PAS development.

What We Offer:

UMB offers competitive and varied benefits to eligible associates, including paid time off, a 401(k) matching program, annual incentive pay, paid holidays, a comprehensive company-sponsored benefit plan, and more.

We are committed to inclusion and diversity and provide employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, military service, veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

If you need accommodation for any part of the employment process because of a disability, please send an email to let us know the nature of your request.

We are more than a company. We are advisors, consultants, problem solvers, friends, community members, experts, and we are here to help you make the best of every moment with a financial foundation that can help you succeed.
