Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Women & Infants Hospital. As a key member of our cytopathology laboratory, you will be responsible for performing microscopic examinations of ThinPrep specimens and reviewing relevant patient clinical data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate diagnostic possibilities and render cytopathologic diagnoses
  • Confer with pathologists and/or manager on difficult cases
  • Document diagnostic evaluation of each case read and revise case charges as necessary
  • Review and electronically sign every final report prior to distribution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; masters preferred
  • Completion of a formal education program in Cytotechnology necessary
  • ASCP certification as a Cytotechnologist required
  • Proficiency in the English language required
