Cytology Specialist

This part-time cytotechnologist position is available at CharterCARE Health Partners. The successful candidate will perform cytology procedures, maintain equipment and records, and participate in quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree and certification by an accredited school of cytotechnology or equivalent education, as well as a current Rhode Island DPH Clinical Cytotechnologist license. Three years of relevant clinical laboratory experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cytology procedures pursuant to established protocols
- Maintain equipment and records
- Participate in quality assurance activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree and certification by an accredited school of cytotechnology or equivalent education
- Current Rhode Island DPH Clinical Cytotechnologist license
- Three years of relevant clinical laboratory experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a certification through a nationally recognized credentialing agency
