Job Summary

Desert Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nuclear imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop film/images and participate in quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient documentation and comply with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and state agency regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians to implement and modify protocols, and monitor technologists to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to radiation safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology with national certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Current Certification with the State of California (CRT) and American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other staff members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Supervisory experience in a nuclear medicine setting.
