Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all service protocols.
  • Provide exceptional service at the bar by preparing drinks in accordance with established recipes.
  • Possess knowledge of drink names, ingredients, preparation methods, suitable glassware, and garnishes.
  • Be familiar with wines available by the glass and have a good understanding of at least five wines from each category on the wine list.
  • Understand specialty beverages, including single malt scotches, cognacs, and unique cocktails.
  • Know all menu descriptions for both the bar and dining areas.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained appropriately.
  • Conduct daily inventory and communicate any changes to servers, managers, and bar staff.
  • Verify that all patrons are of legal drinking age.
  • Provide an accurate report of all income received during shifts.
  • Sell beverages responsibly, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate a seamless service flow between bar and server requests.
  • Complete all assigned side work as per the operational manual.
  • Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts.
  • Maintain a friendly and positive demeanor with colleagues and guests.
  • Keep the restaurant service area clean and organized.
  • Assist with any tasks assigned by supervisors.
  • Follow all sanitation guidelines diligently.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills; proficiency in English is required.

  • Possess extensive beverage knowledge.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
