Key Responsibilities:
The Inventory Management Supervisor is accountable for the comprehensive oversight and protection of DMFI's Finished Goods Inventory, Brite Inventory, and Material's and Fiber Inventory for Plant and Distribution Center Operations in Modesto.
This role encompasses the management of supply chain operations at both strategic and tactical levels, ensuring that all inventory and operational activities are executed accurately, promptly, and in accordance with company standards.
This position is tasked with providing essential support, training, system upkeep, and communication to enhance service levels.Key objectives include case fill rates, inventory cuts, valuation accuracy, and management of aged inventory.
Accountable for developing and adhering to policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective inventory management and accountability in Modesto.
Leads investigations into inventory discrepancies and collaborates with operational partners to drive root cause analysis. Guides the Plant and Distribution Center in implementing corrective measures.Promotes accountability for inventory processes and procedures within both Plant and Distribution Center operations.
Responsible for creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Governance, Maintenance, and Audits.
Oversees, mentors, and develops the inventory control team in Modesto.
Directs cycle count initiatives, physical inventory processes, and suggests enhancements to these programs.
Ensures inventory control teams reconcile inventory between WMS and SAP in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards.
Collaborates with the Supply Chain Leadership team to identify opportunities for cross-functional efficiencies and continuous improvement.
Works with Corporate Inventory Control, Regional Inventory Control, Plants, and 3PLs to design, implement, and maintain an Inventory Scorecard.
Partners with Inventory Accounting to ensure accurate resolution of inventory general ledger account discrepancies.
Ensures timely posting and auditing of all inventory, receipt, and shipment transactions for accuracy.
Monitors customer returns to proactively identify issues, aiming to minimize costs and errors. Audits all credit and debit memos related to these returns for accuracy.
Leads initiatives and projects in Distribution Center and Plant Operations.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, with a minimum of 4 years in Inventory Control.
Demonstrated leadership skills (team facilitation, consensus building, project leadership, and execution).
Ability to analyze data with a keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
Self-driven with a proactive approach to challenges.
Familiarity with SAP and tier-1 WMS.
Proven track record of leading and implementing enhancements in inventory processes.
