Job Overview

Position Summary: The Program Scheduler plays a crucial role in the planning and management of program schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and scheduling of programs, including tracking, analysis, maintenance, and reporting of schedules.
  • Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, project managers, and senior management to ensure alignment on program objectives.
  • Develop the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in conjunction with program management staff as required by contractual agreements.
  • Create detailed program schedules for assigned projects, identifying and monitoring the Critical Path while maintaining Earned Value metrics.
  • Work with technical teams to generate three-point estimates for tasks and conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA).
  • Regularly evaluate program performance, generating reports and analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual requirements.
  • Assist in the establishment of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) as needed.
  • Monitor and report on performance against established plans to meet contractual and scheduling objectives.
  • Support the development and analysis of schedules for proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in government DoD programs is required.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in JIRA and Confluence; familiarity with additional scheduling tools is advantageous.
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment tools (e.g., @Risk, Full Monte, Risk+).
  • PMI Certification (e.g., PMI-SP, CAPM, PMP) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IMS resource loading, critical path analysis, and compliance with ANSI 748 requirements.
  • Strong command of MS Office and understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and training skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and effective teamwork skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.

Additional Information: This position requires U.S. Citizenship status and the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance due to government contract stipulations.
