- Familiarize yourself with property standards and various room types.
- Engage actively during pre-shift meetings and seek clarification on tasks and expectations.
- Review your schedule regularly, adhere to attendance policies, and arrive at work on time, dressed in the appropriate uniform.
- Follow established clock-in and clock-out procedures.
- Exude a friendly and approachable demeanor, always ready to assist.
- Adhere to personal appearance and uniform standards, ensuring you are well-groomed and practicing good hygiene.
- Utilize approved language and scripts when interacting with guests.
- Follow established protocols when entering guest rooms.
- Act professionally and collaboratively with guests and colleagues, in line with our service culture.
- Utilize your Room Attendant Board to follow instructions regarding sequence, special requests, and cleaning types.
- Methodically and promptly clean all assigned rooms according to established service steps, maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
- Ensure that all guest rooms meet documented standards before being inspected and occupied.
- Ensure that your cleaning cart or caddy is organized and equipped to standard.
- Employ approved tools and checklists to complete your tasks effectively.
- Fill out room assignment sheets and submit them to your supervisor at the end of your shift.
- Deliver clean guest rooms that meet or exceed departmental quality and efficiency benchmarks.
- Keep your work area, cart, and storage spaces tidy and organized.
- Promptly report any deficiencies in rooms or public areas to your supervisor.
- Report unsafe conditions or practices in accordance with company policies.
- Support Team Collaboration:
- Work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisors to foster a positive work environment.
- Contribute to team efforts by fulfilling your responsibilities in a constructive and professional manner.
Additional Duties:
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management. Capability to exert physical effort to clean all assigned rooms within a shift. Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and the ability to work independently are essential.
