Resident Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Service Designee to join our team at Maplewood Senior Living. As a key member of our nursing services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Director of Nursing in the administration of nursing services, including directing, planning, and coordinating activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel.
- Interpret policy and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensure compliance.
- Analyze and evaluate nursing and related services rendered to ensure quality of resident care.
- Assume responsibility for providing oversight of resident health care services, including the overall medication delivery system and coordination of in-service training for the Resident Care Services Department.
- Contribute to the team approach to quality resident care by attending to and assisting with physical, emotional, and social needs to help residents maintain their highest level of independence possible.
- Must be a Registered Nurse, licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey, with a minimum one-year experience in assisted living or home care.
- A passion for working with seniors is preferred.
- Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
