Therapist and Case Manager

Sea Mar Community Health Centers' diverse and quickly expanding Behavioral Health program is seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist in Monroe, WA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to our patients. We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven therapist who can accurately diagnose mental health issues, develop effective treatment plans, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning. Additionally, you will participate in program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACs and RCWs, and other administrative tasks performed as directed. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively engage with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive change and improvement in mental health outcomes.
Qualifications:
We require a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work which includes coursework in psychological diagnostics. A minimum of four years of clinical experience in the field is necessary, along with responsibility for individual continuing education hours and licensing fees. A valid Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License is essential. Minority mental health therapist status may be required by WAC. A strong commitment to cultural competence and understanding of the unique needs of underserved populations is preferred.
