Job Overview:

Zobility is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee employee relations activities at our designated branch plant locations. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, as well as maintaining a positive work environment.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, NLRB, and other applicable standards.
  • Employee Engagement and Morale: Conduct regular surveys to assess employee satisfaction, wages, benefits, and employment issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
  • Communication and Training: Collaborate with management to develop and deliver training programs, coaching, and assistance to employees, fostering effective communication and employee morale.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Assist with local hourly recruiting efforts, including diversity hiring, employee tracking, and interviewing, to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Counseling and Conflict Resolution: Provide guidance and support to employees and management on company policies, procedures, legal requirements, performance issues, discipline, benefits, restructuring, and other related matters.

Duties:

  • Hiring Process Optimization: Participate in the selection process for salaried and key leader positions, driving a structured interview process and identifying trends or concerns in hourly hiring and workforce planning.
  • Talent Development: Partner with plants to implement initiatives that improve capabilities, capacity, and succession planning, ensuring effective talent development and growth opportunities.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Design and communicate effective compensation programs that align with the local external environment, working closely with Corporate Compensation to ensure consistency and best practices.
  • Training and Development: Ensure comprehensive training on compensation and benefits for local resources, checking in regularly to clarify any concerns or issues.
  • General Wage Increases: Communicate wage increases effectively within the plant, ensuring transparency and understanding among employees.
  • New Laws and Regulations: Stay up-to-date on new laws and regulations, assisting in their implementation at the local level to maintain compliance and minimize risk.
  • Talent Management: Demonstrate a solid understanding of talent management processes, identifying performance issues, and conducting annual harassment and workplace violence training.
  • SPS and Diversity Initiatives: Participate in SPS locally and within HR, ensuring diversity, inclusion, and unconscious bias training are complete at the plant, and encouraging the use of University resources for training and development.
  • Problem-Solving and Employee Support: Provide support and guidance to employees with concerns or issues, applying Level A policy understanding to employee situations, and building positive relationships with both salaried and hourly workforce.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Required
  • Direct HR Experience: 7+ years of direct HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Fluency in Spanish: Fluent & Bi-Lingual in Spanish is required
  • Strong Employee Relations Skills: Essential
  • 24/7 Operations Experience: A plus
