Key Responsibilities- Engage with patients through various communication channels including phone, text, email, and in-person to provide comprehensive support regarding Chatham Oral Surgery's offerings, practitioners, appointment scheduling, and billing inquiries.
- Gather pertinent information and coordinate new and follow-up patient appointments for oral surgical procedures and consultations, while addressing questions related to post-operative visits.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns; escalate issues to the appropriate specialists when necessary.
- Ensure prompt and effective resolution of patient issues and concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Exceptional communication abilities, particularly in active listening.
- Customer-focused with a strong capability to resolve patient complaints.
- Proficient in computer applications with a willingness to learn new software tools.
- Strong skills in building relationships with patients.
- Ability to manage multiple calls efficiently.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in patient services is essential.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
