The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems. Key responsibilities will include developing project data, working closely with clients to define project scopes, performing field surveys, and analyzing codes to ensure compliance. Additional tasks will involve developing conceptual designs, creating detailed design documents, and communicating with clients to meet their needs. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including institutional, commercial, and manufacturing facilities. A strong understanding of AutoCAD and Revit building information modeling software is mandatory for this role.

Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited program is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Proficiency in thermal load calculation and energy modeling, as well as experience with mechanical equipment sizing and layout, is essential. Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and guidelines is also necessary. A Professional Engineering license is a plus.

Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer at GPAC, you will be part of a design team environment, responsible for developing calculations, flow diagrams, and specifications. You will also be tasked with sizing and laying out ductwork and hydronic piping systems, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
