Pharmacy Procurement Specialist

Comanche County Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Buyer and Procurement Manager to provide technical support for the provision of pharmaceutical services to all age groups. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hospital pharmacy settings, with a strong background in purchasing and supply chain management. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring and managing pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Procure and manage pharmaceutical supplies, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Technician Permit and National PTCB Certification
Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and vendors
Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless delivery of pharmaceutical services
Requirements:
Prior experience in hospital pharmacy settings, with a strong background in purchasing and supply chain management
National PTCB Certification within 12 months of hire
Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Technician Permit
Prior experience in oncology and technical training or equivalent experience in a pharmacy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in purchasing and supply chain management

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with pharmacy staff and vendors
