Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at A. O. Smith. As a key member of our North America Water Treatment division, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving product or service issues.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer complaints by clarifying issues, determining causes, and selecting effective solutions.
  • Answer inbound customer calls and emails related to account questions, shipping inquiries, and technical support for Aquasana products.
  • Stay up-to-date on all products, their features, and the best ways to assist customers.
  • Ensure customer retention through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Explain and sell the benefits of the Water for Life replacement filter program.
  • Meet key customer service metrics, including work percentage, average handle time, abandonment rate, and customer survey scores.
  • Provide ongoing feedback for product improvement and job efficiencies.
Qualifications
  • One year of related work experience in an inbound call center or customer service environment.
  • Problem-solving and program management skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in basic office computer software and the Aquasana customer management program.
