Job Summary:

AAR is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the management of our maintenance operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supervisory roles and experience in managing maintenance operations on multi-engine turboprop aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the contract by organizing, directing, coordinating, and implementing all activities and tasking as determined by the customer.
  • Supervise staff to include addressing personnel issues, and meeting priorities. Tasking and priorities shall be established by the customer.
  • Monitor the performance of employees and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Be available on site for meetings as needed at the request of the customer.
  • Interact with customer program officials regarding issues, status of tasks, and aircraft schedules.
  • Coordinate financial and staffing resources.
  • Facilitate and ensure employees complete all required training.
  • Facilitate and ensure requested training can be delivered at the customer's request.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, attention to detail, and oral communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory position.
  • At least ten (10) years experience and knowledge of aircraft overhaul trades and labor work.
  • Experience overseeing MRO operations on multi-engine turboprop aircraft is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient personal computer skills to include a strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office Suite.
