Assistant Store Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Spencer Gifts - Spirit Halloween. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining exceptional Guest Services, while supporting the Store Manager in various tasks involved in the overall operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability
  • Control expenses and shrinkage, while maintaining high standards of inventory control
  • Support the Store Manager in all aspects of merchandising and visual presentation
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of retail staff
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
  • Prior retail and management experience required
  • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
