POSITION OVERVIEW:
In this position, you will work closely with the Brands Controller and Senior Director of Finance to enhance daily accounting processes for optimal effectiveness. Your essential duties will encompass providing vital financial assistance to Brand Leaders across various markets, facilitating effective management, and maximizing the financial outcomes of our brands. Your daily tasks will include:
- Accounting Functions:
- Process journal entries, conduct bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations for 3-4 designated Brands during month-end closing, ensuring adherence to GAAP and organizational policies.
- Oversee the distribution of corporate expenses across divisions, branches, and Brands, aiding Brand Leaders with precise and timely financial reporting.
- Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and workers' compensation entries with the TPC Parent finance team, prepare flux explanations for the Brand Controller's review, and assist with financial audit inquiries.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage offshore accounting personnel in India, offering guidance, feedback, and training to foster their professional growth.
- Assist in the training of offshore general accounting and accounts payable teams.
- Integration Support for Acquisitions:
- Facilitate the financial integration of new partnerships by overseeing the transition of banking, accounts payable, general accounting, and other related processes.
You will collaborate with your dynamic team in person three times a week at our corporate office.
EXPECTED COMPENSATION:
$80,000—$95,000 USD
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience with offshore teams is preferred
- Multi-location experience is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree and/or CPA certification is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field
