Job Summary:

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the assessment and treatment services provided at our organization. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical and administrative skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals in delivering high-quality care.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Supervise and provide clinical guidance to assessment staff, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based interventions and effective treatment planning.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, outpatient care facilities, and community-based organizations.
  4. Collect and analyze data on program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance service delivery.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience:
  1. Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, with eligibility as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional).
  2. Licensure as an LPC/LCSW, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in mental/behavioral health.
  3. Leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in supervising and developing clinical teams.
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
  1. Detailed knowledge of mental health policies, procedures, and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  2. Aptitude for developing, coordinating, and evaluating services, with a focus on continuous quality improvement.
  3. Capability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
Supervisory Requirements:
  1. Provide leadership and guidance to assessment staff, with a focus on developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
  2. Take an active role in monitoring program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance service delivery.
  3. Involve employees in goal-setting and decision-making processes, with a focus on promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  4. Effectively communicate changes and news-worthy events to employees, with a focus on maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource's advice to show respect for the individual.
  6. Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas, with a focus on promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  7. Reinforce a team approach throughout functions, with a focus on supporting and soliciting input from team members at all levels.
  8. Complete evaluations of employees and communicate results as required.
