Active Attack Training Specialist

Job Summary
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking an experienced Active Attack Response Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will deliver training programs to schools, law enforcement agencies, and the community on Active Attack response and law enforcement rapid response training.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver training programs on Active Attack response and law enforcement rapid response training to various audiences
• Assist in the development of guidance, curriculum, and resource materials for Active Attack training
• Assist with logistics, site setup, and review for Active Attack training programs
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Extensive experience in law enforcement, fire, or EMS at a local or state agency
• Experience in Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) or its various disciplines
• Demonstrated experience delivering first responder or community-focused training to a wide variety of audiences
• Experience in incident command system (ICS)
• Extensive knowledge of the functions and structures of law enforcement agencies and public school divisions
Additional Considerations
• Current instructor certification and experience delivering ALERRT in various disciplines
• Current instructor certification and experience delivering Stop the Bleed
• Extensive experience as a state or local law enforcement officer in responding to critical incidents
