Job Summary

Emory University Hospital Midtown is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold their breath.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and scan results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements

  • ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Experience with GE HD Revolution (Apex), Siemens Flash, and GE Brightspeed equipment.
  • Procedural experience with directed Biopsy, drain insertions, and other procedures.
  • Ability to handle 2-3 patients per hour.
  • EPIC experience required.
  • Large Hospital experience in CT is mandatory.

Work Schedule

  • Contract is for 13 weeks.
  • Shift hours are 3pm - 11:30pm.
  • Expected work hours are 40 per week.
  • On-call duty is not required.

Additional Information

  • Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered initially.
  • Local candidates will later be considered at a rate of $80.00.
  • DRESS CODE: Gray/Pewter scrubs.
  • BILLING CYCLE: weekly.
