Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.

Job Summary:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on CT scanners to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care for patients.
Requirements:
  • ARRT (CT) certification and BLS certification required.
  • RT (T) and ASRT certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues with CT scanners.
