Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Claims Adjuster to join our team at American Family Insurance. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving property claims in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate the origin and cause of claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, and other relevant parties.
  • Determine liability and secure information to support claim resolutions.
  • Review coverages, arrange appraisals, and settle claims in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work in the field and report to the Property Claim Manager, handling homeowner property field claims typically within a 2-hour drive time radius.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
  • Demonstrated experience handling 1st and 3rd party, multi-line claims across our operating territories.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverages.
  • Valid driver's license required, plus an acceptable driving record.

  • A competitive salary range of $55,000.00 - $90,000.00.
