Job Summary

Talis Group's client is a leading provider of chemical-based solutions for environmental stability. We are seeking an experienced Account Representative to join their team in the Virginia region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Identify and target potential customers in the industrial sector who can benefit from the company's environmental solutions.
  • Engage with customers to understand their challenges and requirements, and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the company to stay up-to-date with product knowledge and provide accurate information to customers.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to maximize sales opportunities and secure long-term partnerships with customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as agriculture, chemistry, biology, or similar experience.
  • Ability to understand and/or quickly learn chemical/biological products and solutions.
  • Experience working inside a food or rendering manufacturing plant is a plus.
  • Ability to work outside occasionally in a dirty environment.
  • Travel to customers 50-75% of the time primarily in the Virginia to Pennsylvania area.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, and a customer-centric mindset.
