Position Overview:

Amentum is in search of a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to enhance our Facilities Operations and Maintenance Services. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in various operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold a secure working environment, prioritizing safety above all.
  • Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety regulations and Quality Assurance standards.
  • Follow established site policies and procedures diligently.
  • Execute tasks as directed by the housekeeping supervisor with precision.
  • Provide daily verbal updates or comprehensive reports to the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to foster continuous improvement.
  • Manage work orders generated from the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Assist in maintaining the inventory of cleaning supplies in custodial storage areas.
  • Prepare and submit detailed purchase requests for necessary supplies.
  • Coordinate with the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor regarding any operational issues or repairs.
  • Support after-hours events with setup and cleanup as required.
Typical Housekeeping Duties:
  • Change linens and make beds in billet rooms, launder dirty linens, and clean bathrooms and common areas.
  • Conduct routine cleaning tasks for common areas, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchenettes and common areas upon departure of guests.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis, including window cleaning and floor maintenance.
  • Complete laundry duties as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness of building entrances.
  • Remove cobwebs and ensure the entrance areas are tidy.
Typical Custodial Duties:
  • Clean office buildings and recreational facilities, including restrooms and common areas.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Execute deep cleaning tasks for offices and common areas on a scheduled basis.
  • Complete laundry duties as assigned.
  • Ensure building entrances are clean and welcoming.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing cobwebs as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Proficient in computer use for training, timekeeping, and communication.
  • A valid driver's license from the applicant's home state is required.
