Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical, obstetrical, and other procedures. Under the medical supervision of an Anesthesiologist, you will administer general and regional anesthesia, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients pre-operatively, conducting thorough interviews and examinations to determine the best course of anesthesia care.
- Collaborate with Anesthesiologists to select anesthetic agents and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Monitor patients' responses to anesthesia, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal care.
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams, Anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques, technologies, and best practices to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Current RN licensure in California.
- Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in California.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in anesthesia care for complex procedures involving extensive monitoring and fluid management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and anesthesia information systems.
