UCLA Health is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team. As a key member of our anesthesia care team, you will provide safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing pre-operative assessments and developing anesthesia care plans
  • Administering anesthesia and monitoring patients during surgical procedures
  • Providing post-operative care and support to patients
  • Collaborating with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Current California RN and CRNA license
  • Graduation from an accredited Master's or DNP program in Nurse Anesthesia
  • Current certification/re-certification by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC

  • Ability to perform thorough pre, intra-operative, and post-operative assessments and formulate safe anesthesia care plans
  • Skills in performing pre-operative assessment of surgical and non-surgical patients, including identification of pre-existing disease entities and their potential impact on anesthesia care
  • Ability to explain the proposed anesthetic technique, alternatives, risks, and problems, thus obtaining proper documented legal informed consent prior to the administration of anesthesia
  • Ability to properly and completely document significant information to form an anesthesia record of pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative events
